ANTI-OBESITY COMPOSITION COMPRISING HERBAL EXTRACT USEFUL FOR INHIBITION OF BODY FAT ACCUMULATION

PURPOSE: An anti-obesity composition containing Saururus Herba, corn silk, Polygonum multiflorum Thunberg, and Sanguisorbae Radix extracts is provided to prevent and relieve obesity and to be used in anti-obesity functional foods. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing the activation of glycerol 3-phosphate dihydrogenase(GPDH) contains an extract of Saururus chinensis Baill., Polygonum multiflorum Thunberg, and Sanguisorba officinalis L. as active ingredients. The composition is used for treating or preventing obesity. A functional food for anti-obesity contains the composition for suppressing GPDH activation.
