PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear driving device capable of sufficiently suppressing the transfer of heat generated in a coil of an armature to a driven device, and to provide an electronic circuit component mounter equipped with the linear driving device. SOLUTION: Fixing portions 306 of one end of each of coupling arms 301, 302 are fixed on both end surfaces of an arrangement direction of a plurality of core blocks of the armature 130 movably provided between two magnet rows 120, 122 of a linear motor 72, and an arm portion 308 is extended to the side opposite to the armature 130 beyond the magnet row 122 and is fixed on a Y-axis slide 68 in the fixing portion 309. The heat generated by current supply to the coil is dissipated by a heat dissipation device 330 provided above the armature 130 to suppress a temperature rise of the armature 130. Since the heat is hardly transferred to the Y-axis slide 68 coupled by the long coupling arms 301, 302, both can suppress the temperature rise of constituents of a head transfer device including the Y-axis slide 68, and a decrease in component mounting accuracy can be suppressed.
