<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform path discovery processing at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A network management system 100 for management of path information as a path management information database includes a communication processor for receiving a defect restoration indication from a transmission device 300, a memory which has the path management information database and stores the defect restoration indications in the arrival order thereof, and a CPU for generating path information on the basis of time information of the defect restoration indications and updating the path management information database. The CPU determines the defect restoration indications concentratedly informed within a constant period of time as those from the same path, recognizes detection sites of the indications as a route of the path, generates path information based on the indication detection sites, and updates the path management information database with the generated path information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
