<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display superior in visibility, outward appearance quality or a degree of design freedom. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display for a vehicle includes a ring gear 24 having a liquid crystal display (a first display means) 1 displaying prescribed information and an indicating instrument (a second display means) 2 displaying a prescribed measuring value with an indicator 27 and allowing the indicating instrument 2 to move the indicator 27; a drive source 25 for moving the ring gear 24; and a second case (a display member) 29 forming an index part 291 corresponding to the indicator 27. The second case 29 has a display window 292 along the index part 291. The display for the vehicle comprises a strip 27 displaying a range of the index part 291 with a display part 271 in which the indicator 27 is viewed through the display window 292.
