<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for promoting efficient operation of a hydraulic drive system. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic drive system includes: a high-pressure storage device 138; a low-pressure storage device 134; and a pump motor 130 for conversion between hydraulic energy and mechanical energy. The pump motor 130 is disposed between the high-pressure storage device 138 and the low-pressure storage device 134. The hydraulic drive system has a motor mode in which hydraulic energy is converted to mechanical energy by storage and release to and from the high-pressure storage device 138, a pump mode in which mechanical energy is converted to hydraulic energy, and a neutral mode neither of both. A compensation method for changing temperature by changing pressure limit is useful to maintain the hydraulic device system in general operation, whereby the efficiency in the hydraulic drive system is enhanced. When the pump motor includes a swash plate or the similar structure, the drive during general operation is compensated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
