PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder drive mechanism of a wind power generation system having a simple structure capable of appropriately controlling a pitch angle of a moving blade during a power failure. SOLUTION: The cylinder drive mechanism includes a piston connected with the moving blade, the cylinder for moving the piston by hydraulic pressure, an energizing member arranged in the cylinder for energizing the piston in one direction, an accumulator connected with the cylinder for supplying a hydraulic fluid for energizing the piston in a direction opposite to the direction energized by the energizing member and an on/off valve for controlling opening and closing of a flow passage between the accumulator and the cylinder.
