摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lighting efficiency in a vehicular lighting system. SOLUTION: A cargo shelf 2 is arranged in a vehicle inside upper part of a vehicle 10 of a substantial box body long in the longitudinal direction. The vehicular lighting system is formed by dispersively arranging a plurality of luminaires 1 in the longitudinal direction on a vehicle inside ceiling surface 5. The respective luminaires 1 have long size shapes, and are arranged in a lateral substantially central position of the vehicle inside ceiling surface 5 so that its longitudinal direction is substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Thus, an angle θ to a horizontal plane at the front edge 21 direction of the cargo shelf 2 from the luminaires 1 is reduced, and a rate of intercepting the illuminating light L1 from the luminaires 1 by the cargo shelf 2 arranged in the vehicle inside upper part is reduced.
