A pressure reducing valve configured in such a manner that a valve mechanism having a valve element capable of sitting on a valve seat is contained in a body and that a valve shaft section coaxially connecting to the valve element is connected to the center section of a diaphragm. A diaphragm rod (85) integrally having a first retainer (83) making contact with one surface of the diaphragm (16) is passed through the center section of the diaphragm (16), and at least a second retainer (84) is sandwiched between the other surface of the diaphragm (16) and an engaging section (89) formed by staking, on the spring chamber side, one end section of the diaphragm rod (85). This forms a diaphragm assembly (90) at least including: the diaphragm rod (85) integrally having the first retainer (83); the diaphragm (16); and the second retainer (84). The diaphragm rod (85) of the diaphragm assembly (90) is connected to the valve shaft section. The configuration increases productivity in assembly of the pressure reducing valve. |
