<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endurance testing machine for a power transmission mechanism, for optionally conveying fluctuations of a belt tension to a driven pulley in line with a complicated operating state of an actual machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The endurance testing machine 1 for the power transmission mechanism includes: a driving pulley 2 and a driven pulley 3; a transmission belt 4 suspended extensively between the driving pulley 2 and the driven pulley 3; an eccentric pulley 5 abutting against the back of a stretched portion 4a of the transmission belt 4, wherein distances from rotation centers C3 and C4 of the outer circumference thereof change continuously; an eccentric pulley 6 having the same shape as the eccentric pulley 5, abutting against the back of a loosened portion 4b of the transmission belt 4, and disposed with a phase difference of θ against the eccentric pulley 5; and a toothed belt 19 rotating the eccentric pulley 5 and the eccentric pulley 6 synchronously. The driven pulley 3 serving as a testing pulley is subjected to an axial load closer to the operating state of the actual machine than ever before, enabling an endurance test.
