Gripping apparatus for taking, retaining and handling objects, comprising clamping elements (1, 2) arranged so as to turn about a common joint, forming a pair of clamping elements and capable of getting closer to or being spaced apart from each other. The present invention is characterized in that there are provided at least three clamping elements (1, 2) assemblable together in order to form a pair of clamping elements, that at least two clamping elements (1) form a first clamping member of the pair of clamping elements and that at least one clampling element (2) forms a second clamping member of the pair of clamping elements; the clamping elements (1, 2) are and move in planes separated by a gap (6) and perpendicular to the rotation axis of the common joint; all the clamping elements (1, 2) are comprised of an inner part (4) and an outer part (5) adjacent to said inner part (4) and bent in its respective plane in the same direction. |
