PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge gas treatment apparatus capable of easily realizing a stable pulse corona discharge in a discharge tube. SOLUTION: A ratio R/r of an inner radius R of an outer electrode 4 to an outer radius r of an inner electrode 2 constituting a discharge tube shall be 30 or higher. By this constitution, a boundary between a pulse corona discharge start voltage and an arc start voltage in the two electrodes 4, 6 becomes distinct so that a stable pulse corona discharge is realized in the discharge tube 2.
