<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively extract a combination of causes with high failure rate even when the causes have a low appearance frequency. <P>SOLUTION: A production DB 2, a claim DB 4, and a terminal for quality control administrator 5 are network-connected to a quality information control server 6. The quality information control server 6 obtains cause information of failure combination from the claim DB 4 on the basis of a condition input from the terminal for quality control administrator 5, obtains production data corresponding to the cause information of failure combination from the production DB 2, to generate designation failure data corresponding to the cause information of failure component combination, samples the production data from the production DB 2 a predetermined number of times, to generate sampling production data, generates a candidate cause of failure combination from the designation failure data on the basis of the input condition, calculates an approximate expectation improvement number of items on the basis of the candidate cause of failure combination and the sampling production data, and extracts a cause of important failure combination, of which the approximate expectation improvement number of items satisfies a target expectation improvement number of items as the input condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
