<p>A storage system is provided with a plurality of storage means and a data processing means for storing data in the plurality of storage means and reading data stored in the storage means. The data processing means is provided with a data set generation means for generating divided data by dividing data to be stored into a plurality of data, generating redundant data for reconstructing the data to be stored, and generating a data set composed of a plurality of fragment data that are the divided data and the redundant data, and a distribution storage control means for distributing the respective fragment data and storing the respective fragment data in the respective storage means. The distribution storage control means stores the respective fragment data composing the data set in the same position of respective storage areas formed in the respective storage means.</p> |
