PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability when the speed regulation of a ceiling fan is changed according to room temperature. SOLUTION: This ceiling fan includes: a connection 2 fixed to a ceiling 1; an electric motor 3 provided below the connection 2; a plurality of blades 5 provided in a horizontal direction to the rotor 4 of the electric motor 3; a first circuit substrate portion 6 provided below the electric motor 3; a second circuit substrate portion 7 provided below the first circuit substrate portion 6; a body cover 12 provided at a predetermined distance 13 from the electric motor 3 so as to cover the first and second circuit substrate portions 6, 7; a heat generating component 8 provided to the first circuit substrate portion 6; a temperature detection section 9 provided on the lower surface of the second circuit substrate portion 7; and a suction opening 16 formed in the body cover 12 so that the temperature detection section 9 communicates with a room inside.
