PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for adequately observing perfusion at a target portion. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a delay time measuring unit 111 which generates a reference time density curve concerning a reference region which is set as a blood supply region to an target portion, based on data of a plurality of images generated through an angiographic imaging sequence, and a plurality of time density curves concerning a plurality of local regions set in a blood supplied region in the target portion, and respectively measures delay times between the reference time density curve and the time density curves; an index calculation unit 112 which calculates, for the respective local regions, a plurality of indices expressing correlations of the time density curves to the reference time density curve within a period after the passage of the delay times; and an image generation unit 113 which generates an image expressing spatial distribution of the indices.
