PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bilge block which can cope with enlargement and is easily adjustable, and an efficient supporting method of a marine vessel using the bilge block. SOLUTION: The bilge block 1 supports the ship bottom of the docking marine vessel. The bilge block 1 is constituted in multiple stages by a plurality of block bodies which can be loaded in a height direction (for example, a lower block body 11, a middle block body 12, an upper block body 13). The block bodies expect the lowest body (the middle block body 12 and the upper block body 13) are constituted so as to slide on a side surface or an upper surface of the block bodies locating beneath by one step (the lower block body 11 and the middle block body 12).
