PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device making a noise reduction effect and storage of signal components compatible when in-plane NR (Noise Reduction) processing and addition NR processing are applied to image information. SOLUTION: An image addition means 20 performs noise reduction processing in the time direction by adding a plurality of images while performing motion compensation. An in-plane noise reduction means 14 performs noise reduction processing in the space direction in one image for each of a plurality of image prior to addition in the image addition means. The image processing device is provided with a control means for varying intensity of noise reduction in the space direction in the in-plane noise reduction means 14 with respect to a plurality of pick up images to be added in the image addition means 20.
