<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area detection-alarm system, which detects entry of a person to a wide-ranging monitoring object area and lets the person know that he/she is in the monitoring object area with reduced cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An area information transmitting node 105 is disposed in the monitoring object area 110, monitoring object area information for informing that the area is the monitoring object area 110 is transmitted from the area information transmitting node 105 by radio broadcasting, and a user node 106 carried by a user who received the monitoring object area gives a warning sound or vibrates a vibrator as an informing means, thereby the entry to the monitoring object area 110 is informed to the user.
