(POLY)CARBONATE POLYOL AND CARBOXYL GROUP-CONTAINING POLYURETHANE USING THE (POLY)CARBONATE POLYOL AS STARTING MATERIAL

Provided are a carboxyl group-containing polyurethane with little warping when cured and having excellent electrical insulating characteristics and plasticity in the cured product, curable compositions that include the carboxyl group-containing polyurethane and with which cured products having satisfactory electrical insulating characteristics are obtained, cured products obtained from the compositions, flexible wiring boards coated with the cured products, and a flexible wiring board manufacturing method. The carboxyl group-containing polyurethane is a carboxyl group-containing polyurethane that uses (a) a (poly)carbonate polyol, (b) a polyisocyanate and (c) a carboxyl group-containing polyol as starting materials. The (poly)carbonate polyol is a (poly)carbonate polyol that includes an organic residue derived from a dimer diol and an organic residue derived from a polyol that has an aliphatic ring structure with 10-20 carbon atoms.
