摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering device enhancing durability of a shock-absorbing member by reducing stress applied to the shock-absorbing part even if parallel degree of a feed nut and an abutment surface of the shock-absorbing part is insufficient. SOLUTION: When the parallel degree of an upper end surface of a nut holder and a lower end surface 852 of a reinforcement part 85 is insufficient by manufacturing error of respective parts or the like, the upper end surface of the nut holder is abutted on the lower end surface 852 of the reinforcement part 85, and large stress is partially applied to the abutment part of the reinforcement part 85. Since the reinforcement part 85 is made of a metal material, the stress is dispersed by the reinforcement part 85 and is applied to the shock-absorbing part 83. Further, since friction coefficient between the reinforcement part 85 made of the metal material and the nut holder made of the metal material is small, twist stress applied to the shock-absorbing part 83 through the reinforcement part 85 becomes small.
