<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refer to telephone number data registered in a cellular phone, in a fixed telephone. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The telephone number reference system includes: the cellular phone A with a telephone number memory 3 storing the telephone number data, a mobile side control unit 2 and a mobile side human body communication unit 1; and the fixed telephone B with a temporary memory 7 for temporarily storing the telephone number data, a display 9 for displaying the telephone number data, a fixed side control unit 6, and a fixed side human body communication unit 5. The mobile side control unit 2 transmits the telephone number data stored by the telephone number memory 3 through the mobile side human body communication unit 1. When receiving the telephone number data through the fixed side human body communication unit 5, the fixed side control unit 6 stores the received telephone number data in the temporary memory 7, also displays it on the display 9, and when detecting the interruption of human body communication with the mobile telephone A, eliminates all the telephone number data stored by the temporary memory 7.
