The chassis (3) has tubular inner longerons (6, 7) extending along longitudinal direction of a vehicle. An energy storage device is placed in a housing (8) and supplies energy to an engine, where the housing is delimited laterally by the inner longerons. Outer longerons (4, 5) extend along longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The outer longerons are placed on sides of the inner longerons and in another housing (9) that is delimited by the outer longerons and provided at back of the former housing. Another energy storage device supplies energy to the engine and/or a portion of a power unit. The energy storage devices are batteries and/or gas reservoirs. An independent claim is also included for an electric propulsion vehicle.
