PURPOSE: A heat source monitoring device and a method thereof are provided to efficiently grasp a movement route of an intruding heat source. CONSTITUTION: A thermal image sensor(110) comprises multiple thermal image elements. A controller(120) matches heat source body monitoring data according to multiple thermal image elements with monitoring area of the thermal image sensor. The motion information of a heat source body is created using the heat source body monitoring data which is transformed into a matrix.
