PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, general purpose, easily and efficiently producible and simply structured leak prevention cover which keeps, when a container where a content is sealed is broken through the excessive internal pressure of the container, the content, its decomposite gas, dust, liquid drop or mist jetting out from the container or a broken fragment of the container in an expandable rubber cap and prevents the same from leaking outside. SOLUTION: This leak preventive cover 1 is a cover for preventing leakage which covers a container 15, enclosing a volatile or liquescent content which is jetted out under a surplus internal pressure, with a rubber cap 13 in such a way that the jetting part 16 is in the cap 13. The periphery 19 of one line surrounding the container 15 covered with the cap 13 is continuously swaged and sealed and thus the vaporized or liquified content jetting out from the container 15 and/or the scattering fragments of the container 15, etc. are kept in the expandable rubber cap 13.
