<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set and an image recording method capable of imparting printed matter-like gloss to recorded images and enabling to realize a wide color reproductive region. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an ink set containing at least a magenta ink and a cyan ink, each containing a pigment, wherein, a ratio (M/C), in which M is the concentration of the pigment in the magenta ink and C is the concentration of the pigment in the cyan ink, is 1.6 or more and a solid mass ratio (S2/S1), where S2 is the total solid mass of an ink that has the largest total solid mass and S1 is the total solid mass of an ink that has the smallest total solid mass, is 1.2 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
