PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both reduction of cogging due to skew structure and torque up by employing trapezoidal magnet pieces provided to the outer periphery of a planar core. SOLUTION: In the trapezoidal magnet skew structure of a cylindrical linear motor with core, magnet pieces (3) pasted to the outer peripheral surface of a planar core (2) are trapezoid type to form a skew structure, resulting in provision both reduction in cogging and torque up.
