<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled newspaper automated guided vehicle in which pressing force against rolled newspaper supported by a rotary press is accurately controlled and in which paper feeding efficiency and safety in unloading are improved. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rolled newspaper automated guided vehicle includes a travel cart 120 which is self-propelled on a floor, a carrying table 140 mounted on the travel cart 120 for carrying the rolled newspaper, a main lifter 160 for vertically lifting/lowering the carrying table 140 with a hydraulic cylinder 190, and a control unit for controlling the lifting/lowering of the main lifter 160. The hydraulic cylinder 190 has a pressure sensor 194 for measuring pressure in the hydraulic cylinder, and when the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder measured by the pressure sensor 194 exceeds a predetermined threshold value during the main lifter 160 is receiving the rolled newspaper, the control unit stops the lifting of the main lifter 160.
