PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing having with its rotating torque reduced by focusing attention on agitation resistance and reducing the agitation resistance. SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing 10 is used with its outer race to be driven. On the face of an inner diameter portion of the outer race 13 in opposition to an inner race bent portion 22, a plurality of lubricating oil residing amount adjusting protrusions 27 are formed at predetermined spaces in the peripheral direction. The protrusions 27 are shaped rectangular and provided with their longitudinal directions to be acute to the rotating direction. Lubricating oil hitting the protrusions 27 is guided inward in the radial direction. This restricts the amount of the lubricating oil to flow into the bearing and reduces the amount of the lubricating oil to reside in the bearing to prevent an increase of agitation resistance.
