PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a solar-cell back-surface protection film which has superior durability under high temperature and high humidity in a thin-film silicon solar cell. SOLUTION: The polyester film for a solar-cell back-surface protection film has a whiteness of≥50 and contains 3-50 mass% of fine particles, having an average particle size of 0.1-3μm.
