MANUFACTURE OF CEMENT USING FOOD WASTE AND CEMENT THEREBY

PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of cement using food waste by chemical reaction of quicklime(CaO) without special process and equipment for removal of water and salt. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of cement using food waste comprises the steps of: (i) mixing 50-85wt.% of crushed food waste with 15-50wt.% of CaO to remove water and salt contained in food waste, expressed by the formula CaO +H2O·Ca(OH)2 + 62.5(KJ), Ca(OH)2 + NaCl·CaCl2 +NaOH; (ii) adding 15-20wt.% of SiO2, 3-6wt.% of Al2O3 and 2-4wt.% of Fe2O3 to 70-75wt.% of the mixture of step (i); (iii) sintering at 1500deg.C for more than 20min. to form clinkers; (iv) adding 3-10wt.% of gypsum to 90-97wt.% of clinkers; (v) grinding.
