<p>A driving support device (2) for performing driving support control that is control for supporting the driving of a vehicle (1) by a driver is provided so as to be switchable between a normal travel mode in which braking force is generated at wheels (3) in response to the braking operation of the driver without the driving support control and a driving support control mode in which the braking force is generated at the wheels (3) without the braking operation of the driver in the driving support control, and the distribution of braking force between front wheels (4) and rear wheels (5) is varied between the normal travel mode and the driving support control mode. Thus, when the driving support control is not performed, the braking force at all the wheels (3) can be ensured by increasing the distribution of braking force to the front wheels (4), and when the driving support control is performed, by increasing the distribution of braking force to the rear wheels, nose dive becomes less likely to occur at the time of deceleration, and the driver can be prevented from feeling of physical dosorder. As a result, the riding comfort can be improved without deterioration in braking performance.</p> |
