<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which can discharge a generated gas resulting from a reaction at an anode to the outside without allowing the generated gas to be mixed with air in a cathode to achieve a higher output power and an improved output stability, and to provide an electronic apparatus having the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack and a gas concentration unit, and the anodes of unit cells in the fuel cell stack communicate with the gas concentration unit through a generated gas discharging channel formed on the fuel cell stack. The fuel cell stack includes one or more fuel cell layers each having two or more unit cells arranged on the same plane, each unit cell, preferably, being composed of a cathode, an electrolytic film, an anode, and an anode current-collecting layer that are stacked in this order. The gas concentration unit has an internal cavity and an opening communicating with the cavity. It is preferable that the cavity communicate with the anodes of all of the unit cells of at least one fuel cell layer through the generated gas discharging channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
