PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology with respect to display (control) of a setting screen to be set when a plurality of different types of communication protocols are selected.

SOLUTION: In a destination setting device for setting destinations for use in a plurality of communication protocols, the setting screen including setting items to be set by one type of a communication protocol is generated if it is determined that one type of the communication protocol is included in the destination information input in a destination list for displaying the destinations for communication. Further, the setting screen including the setting items that merge the setting items to be set by a plurality of different types of communication protocols is generated if it is determined that a plurality of different types of communication protocols are included in the destination information input in the destination list.
