<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rubber hose which can calculate the deflection (catenary) of a vulcanized rubber hose, without arranging a glass window in a vulcanizing means. <P>SOLUTION: A catenary instrument 44 measures the catenary of the rubber hose 12, and a tension adjustment controlling part 50 calculates the catenary of the rubber hose 12 passing through a vulcanizing pipe 26, based on the catenary of the rubber hose which is measured by the catenary instrument 44. Thus, the tension applied to the rubber hose 12 is adjusted to make the catenary of the rubber hose 12 passing through the vulcanizing pipe 26 into the specified shape. Then, the catenary instrument 44 is arranged downstream in the rubber hose feeding direction from the rubber extrusion vulcanizing pipe 26. Consequently, it is possible to calculate the catenary of the vulcanized rubber hose 12 without arranging the glass window in the vulcanizing pipe 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
