<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant microorganism obtained by selecting a host microorganism capable of increasing productivity of a protein or polypeptide and introducing a gene encoding the protein or polypeptide into the microorganism, and further a method for producing the protein or polypeptide using the recombinant microorganism. <P>SOLUTION: A recombinant microorganism is obtained by introducing a gene encoding a heterologous protein or polypeptide into a microorganism mutant in which one or more genes relating to membrane permeability of maltose are deleted or inactivated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
