The method involves detachably fastening a roof module (14) at a body component (16) by fastening units in a lacquering position, and common lacquering the roof module and a body (12). The roof module at the body component is final fastened by the fastening units and an additional bonding joint. A flange of the body component is fixed by one of the fastening units i.e. screw, that is indirectly connected with the roof module by a retaining element. The roof module is installed on the body.
