<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encrypt a document to be stored in a hard disk, a USB memory or the like, decrypt it by page at the time of browsing, and ensure high-level security while securing display response during browsing by decrypting only the minimum required pages. <P>SOLUTION: The document management system includes: a document server that stores a document to be managed, receives a document browsing request transmitted by a browsing terminal, encrypts the document requested according the document browsing request from the browsing terminal, and transmits the encrypted document to the browsing terminal having transmitted the browsing request, the encrypted document including address information of each page of the encrypted document; and the browsing terminal that transmits the document browsing request to the document server, receives the encrypted document from the document server, inputs a browsing instruction for designating a browsing page of the received document, specifies the desired browsing page by use of the browsing instruction, decrypts the specified page of the received encrypted document by use of the address information, and displays the decrypted page of the document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
