The present invention relates to peptide compounds of the general formula (I) R1-(AA)n- X1 -Ser - Thr - Pro - X2 - (AA)P - R2. Further, the present invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition including at least one peptide of the general formula (I), in a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable medium, as well as to the use thereof for preventing or treating signs of ageing on the skin and for protecting the skin against the detrimental effects of UV radiation. The invention finally relates to a cosmetic treatment method intended for preventing and/or fighting against signs of ageing on the skin and for protecting the skin against the detrimental effects of UV radiation.
