<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container having a lid portion readily opened by one hand without requiring a large force, and having a simple structure, reduced manufacturing cost, and a light weight. <P>SOLUTION: The storage container includes: a storage case portion having an opening; the lid portion for covering the opening in an openable and closable manner; a first magnet member attached to the storage case portion; and a second magnet member attached to a position opposite to the first magnet member when the opening is closed by the lid portion, and attracted to the first magnet member. The first and second magnet members close the lid portion by magnetic attraction force acting on them to attract the magnet members to each other. The storage case has a structure such that the first magnet member is moved to make magnetic repulsion force act on magnet bodies of the first and second magnet members, attraction between the second and first magnet members is released, and the lid portion separates from the storage case to open the lid portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
