<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a radio communication system for improving quality of services by detecting not only the packet loss generated in the radio sections, but also packet loss generated in the entire part of the system, including the packet loss generated within a base station. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system 1 includes a base station 3 for generating PDU packets, based on SDU packets received from an IP network 2 and transmitting by radio the relevant PDU packets; a terminal 4 for receiving the PDU packets transmitted by radio from the base station 3 and recovering the SDU packets based on the relevant PDU packets; and a loss-rate computing part 15 for computing the first packet loss rate as the loss rate of the SDU packets, based on the number of SDU packets received by the base station 3 from the external side and the number of SDU packets recovered by the terminal 4 among the relevant packets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
