PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which prevents a negative pressure fracturing and enables a stable ink discharge while keeping pipe arrangement components of an ink supply system as they are with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device includes a liquid droplet discharge head which has two or more nozzles for discharging ink, a head tank for creating negative pressure in the liquid droplet discharge head and temporarily storing ink of a predetermined quantity, an ink cartridge for storing ink, and a liquid feed pump which performs a normal feed of liquid for feeding ink to the head tank from the ink cartridge, or performs a reverse feed of liquid for feeding ink to the ink cartridge from the head tank.
