The device (10) has two guides (14, 15) for fixing movement directions of a positioning device in X and Y directions. The guides are introduced between three frames (11-13) at an angular offset of 90 degrees in an intersected manner. One of the frames (13) is guided by the respective guide in the X-direction. A holder for a stand of a stone-working machine is worked in the frame. The positioning device is fastened to the frame and simulates a Z-axis of a rock or concrete drill of the machine.
