The method involves determining a resulting probability distribution of an elongated structure in the local three-dimensional object for each projection image by a computer (1). The resulting probability distribution is based an initial probability distribution given for the projection image of the elongated structure in a local three-dimensional object and the respective projection image. Both the initial probability distributions and the resulting probability distribution are three dimensionally spatially resolved. An independent claim is also included for a computer program with a machine code.
