The invention relates to a device (4) that can be fixed to a handling element and is used to fix a profiled sealing element to a flange of an opening in a car body. Said device (4) comprises two rotatable form rollers (5) which are embodied in such a way that they receive the profiled sealing element, arranged on the flange, between each other, and transmit a deformation force thereto. A plurality of compensation elements are provided for compensating programming tolerances of the handling element, positional tolerances of the flange, and variable flange thicknesses. A first compensation element (7) is arranged between a housing element (6) - which is to be fixed to the handling element and used to receive the device (4) - and the device (4), and enables a relative movement between the device (4) and the handling element (3). A second compensation element enabling a relative movement between a carrier element supporting the form rollers (5) and the device (4) is provided between the carrier element and the device (4). A third compensating element associated with the form rollers (5) can be used to adapt an axial distance between the two form rollers (5) to a variable flange thickness. |
