PURPOSE: A method for synthesizing zirconia nanopowder is provided to easily manufacture a large amount of tetragomal zirconia nanopowder of an ultra-fine crystalline structure through pyrolysis of zirconium acid chlorides and yttrium nitrate solution. CONSTITUTION: A method for synthesizing zirconia nanopowder comprises: a step(A) of preparing zirconium acid chlorides and yttrium nitrate solution; a step(B) of forming a lemon yellow gel by mixing and heating the solution; a step(C) of forming amorphous zirconia by plasticizing the lemon yellow gel; a step(D) of forming amorphous zirconia powder by shattering the amorphous zirconia and drying the zirconia at 50-70°C; and a step(E) of forming tertragomal zirconia in which yttrium oxide crystal is stabilized by heating the amorphous zirconia powder. |
