A method of multistage sheet-stamping of metastable austenitic steels relates to deforming metals, in particular, to sheet stamping of hollow thin-walled products made of stainless austenitic steels in machine building. The object of invention is to increase strength of steel with retention of sufficient ductility at stamping metastable austenitic steels due to intensification of deformational martensitic transformation occurring at sheet stamping blanks and dividing deformation that allows to avoid use of intermediate weakening thermal working thin-walled products. The method of multistage sheet-stamping metastable austenitic steels is carried out in dies, and selection of the number of stages and distribution of the degree of deformation at the stages are carried out taking into account the ratio of the relative change of martensite &Dgr;f– f/fto a relative hardening of steel &Dgr;&sgr;S &Dgr;&sgr;= &sgr;/&sgr;, i.e. &Dgr;f/&Dgr;&sgr;. The ratio should have a value close to unity at each stage. |
