PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bearing of a fan motor from being damaged, for example, in transporting an air conditioner. SOLUTION: This fixing member 70 is a plate member, and is provided with: a control section 70a; and an extending section 70b extending from the control section 70a. The fixing member 70 has a thickness roughly same as a distance between a turbo fan 62 received in an indoor unit 1, and a fan mounting section 53d for mounting the turbo fan 62 in the indoor unit 1. A clearance between the turbo fan 62 and the fan mounting section 53d is filled with the control section 70a. Thus, the fixing member 70 controls the movement in the direction to change an inclination angle to the fan mounting section 53d, of the turbo fan 62. The fixing member 70 is easily demounted from the indoor unit 1 by pulling out the extending section 70b from a lower supply opening 52b formed on a casing 50 of the indoor unit 1, after the indoor unit 1 is installed.
