PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for suppressing glare while securing a predetermined light volume of a light source.

SOLUTION: A light source unit 3 and the luminaire, for suppressing glare while securing a predetermined light volume of the light source, are provided with a substrate 31 structuring a light-emitting surface, and a light-emitting element 32a mounted on the substrate 31 and arranged at a center part of the light-emitting surface as well as a plurality of light-emitting elements 32b arranged at a peripheral part of the light-emitting element 32a and with relatively low luminance to the light-emitting element 32a.
