PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain 1-butene polymer which has few regioirregularity units, high isotacticity, low content of solvent-extractable component and preferably excellent randomness. SOLUTION: 1-Butene polymer can be preferably obtained by using a specific metallocene catalyst. The 1-butene polymer has high melting point, broad molecular weight control width, low content of solvent-extractable component and preferably excellent randomness of copolymer. Thereby high rigidity and excellence as a modifier can be expected. Accordingly molecular design fit for various demanded characteristics is possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
