The integrated circuit has a lower electrode (200) arranged over a semiconductor body, where the lower electrode has a base region (202), a top region (204) and outer side panel (206), which extends between the base region and top region. A spacer layer is extending along the outer side panels of the base region, and a dielectric layer is extending over the highest region and along the outer side panels of the highest region. An upper electrode is arranged over the dielectric layer, where the dielectric layer isolates the upper electrode electrically from the lower electrode. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a storage arrangement; and (2) a method for formation of a condenser.
